1.  Visit this site:  An Introduction to Buddhism
  
 *Click on “The Life of Siddhartha Guatama”
        a.  Describe Siddhartha Guatama’s birth.
        b.  What happened to Siddhatha at age 29?
        c.  The image on the left is Siddhartha.  What does is show about him?
        d.  Describe his experience under the bodhi tree.
        e.  How did Siddhartha feel about the status or background of people?
        f.  What significance did he give to women?
        g.  To what did he devote his life?
        h.  List the significant happenings of his life at age 35 and 80.

            Enlightenment?
        c.  What are the “Friends on the way to Enlightenment” (factors)? 

6.  Draw the Eight-fold Path as the Wheel of Life on white paper.  HAND DRAW, not computer generated.

        a.  Click on “Buddhist Flag.”  Draw it on a separate piece of paper.
        b.  Click on “The Swastica.”  What does this symbol mean to the Buddhists? How is this controversial?
